EXAMINATION BRFORE IVF CYCLE

 

Before the start of the treatment it’s necessary to undergo the initial consultation during which specialists will decide the volume of the examination and will select the treatment method and you’ll be able to discuss with the doctor all questions of your interest.

 

Please bear in mind that the examination is conducted in your interest. A series of examinations has a mandatory character allowing to detect the latent pathology and serious complications for the health.

In case of the lack of above-mentioned test results the treatment with the IVF method is impossible.

 

EXAMINATION BASED ON INDICATIONS

 

A series of examinations allow to clarify the reasons of infertility, to develop individual approach to your treatment and to increase the probability of pregnancy. The volume of these examinations is defined by the doctor individually.

 

Wife:

  • Blood test to check the level of testosterone, DGEA-sulfate,  17-OP and TPO anti-bodies (on the 2nd-3rd day of the cycle)
  • Blood test to check the level of progesterone and estradiol (on the 20th-23rd day of the cycle)
  • Check of infections in the cervical channel through PCR method (ureaplasmosis, micoplasmosis, herpes, cytomegalovirus)
  • Check of IgM, IgG anti-bodies against toxoplasm,  German measles, I and II type of herpes and cytomegalovirus
  • Hysterosalpinography
  • Hysteroscopy, endometrium biopsy
  • Consultation by endocrinologist in case of a pathology of thyroid glands (ultrasound examination)
  • Consultation mammologist in case of a pathology in mammal glands (ultrasound examination)
  • Colposcopy
  • Medical-genetic consultancy, definition of wife’s kariotype
  • Immunogram, interferon status
  • Definition of coincidences of antigens of the main complex of tissular compatibility with the HLA system (II class)
  • Definition of anti-sperm antibodies

 

Husband:

 

  • Examination of antibodies against spermatozoa (MAP-test) and spermatozoa morphology
  • Check of infections in the urethra with the PCR method (chlamydiosis, ureaplasmosi, micoplasmosis, derpes, cytomegalovirus)
  • Medical-genetic consultancy, definition of husband’s kariotype
